Moving In and Setting Up

Temporary location

This week we have been moving into our temporary location at 1116 Santa Fe. The house allows us to have two classrooms, an area for fine motor and art activities, a snack area, a motor room and a room for private music therapy. We are all very excited. It's starting to really look like a "school".

Thank you!

Robin is in Austin this week and Gloria Brandstrom, Debbie Ocanas and I have been busy shopping for all the necessary supplies and equipment. I want to thank REAL LIFE ACADEMY, the non-profit organization supporting Hannah's Hope, for providing the funds to purchase materials and supplies. This effort has truly been a partnership between parents and community.

We have so many people to thank! Forgive me, if I forget anyone.

A special "thank you" goes to Mindy Petty for organizing our pecan sale effort and for selling so many of those pecans! Along with Mindy, there's Kathy Reeves, Barbara Russell, Julie Dearing, Lisa Marti, Barbara Zemo, Debbie Sudduth, Stacia Lawrence, Patricia Deaton, Leah Lockhart, Debbie Ocanas, Georgia Rogers, Dorothy Coleman (at Attic Antiques), Jennifer Cox, Terri Rush, Marla Keough, Donna Carr, Kelly Jolly, Darren Max, Trish Edwards, Ernest and Liz Coulter, and Hannah's PPCD teacher, Vicki Patterson.

Thanks to all of you who have BOUGHT our pecans, especially, DAIRY QUEEN!

Thank you, Keith Petrus, of Icon Creative for designing our logo and helping us with this web log.

A special "thank you" to Kelly Jolly for making a beautiful puzzle quilt for our center and for being brave enough to enter it in the quilt show! We also appreciate Kelly's husband, Tim, for being one of our "best customers"--he bought alot of pecans.

Thanks goes to Olga Fernandez, a student at GP High School for soliciting donations--she's done an awesome job!

Thank you, Victor and Sue Isenburg from Corpus Christi for all the help and information you have provided us with regarding our non-profit organization.

We appreciate LOWE'S for providing our children with project kits for woodworking activities.

Hannah would like to thank the volunteers that have been working with her for the past two years--Sue West, Montie Spaulding, Lynda Sherrod, and Barbara Zemo.

Sandy Mader
and Waynette Jarrell at Pediatric Therapy Associates, thank you for all of the help and support you have given us since the beginning!
