Fire Station Field Trip

Hannah's Hope at the Fire Station.
Recently, Fire Station 1 invited our students to come for a visit. WOW, was it exciting! The kids got to wear REAL firefighter's jackets, sit in the fire truck and even spray the hose.

We appreciate our firefighters and all they do for our community. They keep us safe through education and risk their lives to protect us during a fire.

Thank you Fire Station 1!

Baby Blue Due TODAY!

The cake says it all!
Our program manager, Robin Blue will be on maternity leave beginning today and will return May 1st. The teachers surprised her with a shower a couple of weeks ago. She got all kinds of goodies for the baby. We'll miss you Robin!

$9,000 from Valero

Robin, Rebecca and Claudia hold the BIG check
Valero DOES care for kids! Robin Blue and Marsha Coulter attended a reception for grant recipients at Valero today. All of the grants were awarded to organizations that help children. We felt very privileged to be awarded this grant and would like to thank Tony Hernandez for nominating us.

Clean Up Time!

Garrett stacks the rings
No one likes to clean up, but at Hannah's Hope, this is one of the many skills children learn. Part of being able to play and have fun also means having to pick up the toys afterwards. Our teachers have done a great job motivating the children to clean up!

Need Computers

Santiago uses the computer to practice reading skills.
As our school grows, we find ourselves in need of computers for our students. We will accept donations of new or used (no later than a 2000 model) computers. Please contact Hannah's Hope at 361-888-9570, if you can help.
