School Supplies from North Bay Lions

On August 23rd, Marsha Coulter attended the North Bay Lions Club meeting in Portland and was presented a check for $100 and tons of school supplies for our students. The Lions collected crayons, scissors, glue, markers, paper, paint, play-dough, pencils and pens for us. We have enough supplies to last us the full school year. They will continue to collect other items for us throughout the year.

A BIG "thank you" goes to the North Bay Lions Club of Portland!

New Full Day Program

Michael enjoys drawing .

"Hannah's Hope" is now offering a full day program beginning August 22nd. We currently have two full time teachers and one part time teacher. In September, we will be hiring another part time teacher.

The full day program will allow us to offer two hours of one on one intensive instruction with each child. There will also be two hours of two on one instruction which will include cooperative play, gross motor, fine motor, art and music. Activities for large group instruction will be circle time, snack, outdoor play, lunch and quiet/sensory time. The school day begins at 8:30 and ends at 2:30. We will use ABA teaching techniques throughout the day in all activities.

Summer Break!

Sweet, sweet Hannah O.

While our students are on break for three weeks, teachers will be attending workshops, moving into the new location and setting up for a full day program.

Our new location is at 901 Chaparral. The renovations on the house look great! We are extemely grateful for the generosity shown by Les and Tracey Cassidy.

On behalf of the teachers and parents of students attending "Hannah's Hope", I would like to thank the Coastal Bend Area for the support we have recieved. Knowing that the community we live in cares about the well-being of these special children and their families is what keeps us going. Thank you.
