Holiday Helpers

Hayley, Sophia and Michelle help Michael make a
noodle necklace.

While school was out for most of the area public schools, We were still in session November 21-22. Hayley, Sophia and Michelle decided to spend one of their "holidays" working at Hannah's Hope. The girls helped our students go through obstacle courses in the motor room, make noodle necklaces and pushed them on the swings outside. As a reward, we all took a trip to Chuck E. Cheez for some pizza and some fun!

Snack/Lunch is Learning Time

Amit and Dawn work through lunch time with the kids.

At Hannah's Hope, even snack and lunch time are opportunities for learning. Students practice communication skills as they request the food and drink they want. Teachers are right there to assist in basic self help skills. It's amazing how much more independent our "kids" have become through these daily routine activities.
